Just starting REG. Should I read the Superfast notes first or should I attempt the MCQs and Practice Sims for chapter in Gleim 1st? If I am to do the MCQs and Practice Sims for the chapter 1st, how does that help me with the mini questions on topics I haven't learned as yet? Also, do you think that reading the book is a waste of time? I spend hours just reading. It's taking ALL day - literally. Don't read, just practice concept - how effective is that?

Hi All, Already passed FAR and AUD, and onto REG now. My exam in the middle of May, so about a month left and still pushing through the materials (28 more chapters to go, includes chapter assessments and TBS). I feel that REG is a different animal than FAR and AUD and the way you study for this part of the exam is different than what you did for the others. What did you change if anything or do different for REG?
This question is for anyone who has Wiley and has the full platinum version. The books that they sent you in the mail with focus notes and flash cards, how useful are the focus notes/flashcards they send you? And also with the books they send labeled "Study Guide" (FAR is 1,000 pages) is that additional material to study besides the online course? Or is the book just a hard copy of the material already online in the course?? I officially start Monday so I want to make sure I have my entire plan thought out!
Anyone using Wiley, are you also doing the adaptive reviews that it schedules at the end of each section? Also what are your strategies for the post assessment and tbs assessment, are you also using those and finding that to work? I know in the videos it suggests not to do the pre test that shows what areas you know best, but does this apply for all of these adaptive reviews to?

Just retook the FAR exam. I think it went better than last time at least, but it's always so hard to tell. It sucks because I have to wait about a month until I get my results as well, which compounds the problem. I'm planning on taking the audit test next. Last time, I got a 73 on it. I'm thinking of taking it in approximately 4-5 weeks. I think if I improve my note taking/retention process from last time, I can push my score over the top. My one credit runs out in September. I have Becker and Roger, which expire later this month and July, respectively.

I took FAR about a month ago and it definitely was the most difficult exam for me. My confidence coming out of the exam wasn't the best but I'm happy to say I passed with an 83! That makes 3 out of 4 exams passed on the first try while using SuperfastCPA study methods and tools. Couldn't have done it without all the great tips I learned while perfecting my study process. Thanks again Nate! Now on to Audit!
Anyone using Wiley did this update they did today mess with your study plan? At first it erased all of my work that I have done for the past week and says I haven't completed anything. Now I reset my expected exam date and it shifted all of the lessons around that I have already done. So ones I was supposed to do today it says were due on Sunday. I'm just curious if anyone else is experiencing this problem or if it's just me. I am in contact with tech support and they are trying to get to the bottom of it as this is really stressing me out because it shows I am way behind now when yesterday I was ahead...
